As many of you will know, I’ve always wanted to be published in the Athabasca Student Union newspaper. And how, it’s happened. Not that I know where Athabasca is.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the number of positive reviews of Getting Real: Challenging the sexualisation of girls. This review, titled ‘The Care and Grooming of an Object,’ was published in The Voice, the Athabasca Student Union newspaper. It’s written by Wanda Waterman St Louis.
Here’s her summary of why she likes the book:
