Students - Primary (Yrs 5-6)

Positive Bodies

Interactive session for primary students to help them resist harmful messages about their bodies and behaviour

Beginning with an interactive, developmentally appropriate visual ‘tour’ of messages from social media, pop culture, fashion, music videos, games etc.

Children are invited to actively engage with the content, helping them to understand what they are being taught about their value and worth, risks of social media, online predators and groomers and to understand body safety and boundaries.

There is time for questions and discussion throughout. Students are encouraged to question the values offered by pop culture and recognise their true dignity and worth.

Presentation includes workshop. Boys and girls separately or together on consultation.
