Just watched last night’s episode of q and a that Gail was on. I was almost in tears and felt every ounce of Gail’s frustration at the inability for others to see her message: that porn can be so harmful to society and women as individuals. Most of my anger was directed towards the other female panellist who supposedly stood up for women’s rights. How can it be so hard for people to see the effects that the porn industry is having on everyone and that it can even be reflected at times in the actions or words of young children? This is not a joke. Women’s lives ARE in danger because of the greed of the porn industry and people’s willingness to normalise it. Arrrgh!

Am reading this book at the moment – would be there in a heartbeat if I was in Sydney!
