Condom Kingdom eroticises sex with underage girls

*Trigger Warning* This article will be distressing for some.

It was recently brought to our attention that Condom Kingdom, an online sex shop and business based on the Gold Coast, is selling ‘male masturbators’ for men to fantasise about sex with underage girls. The “Lolita Vibrating Teenage Vagina” is advertised in this way on Condom Kingdom’s website:

Lolita the Stanley Kubrick’s 1962 movie classic starring Peter Sellers, James Mason and the unbelievably provocative Sue Lyon, aged 14 at the time of making the movie – attracted huge controversy and censorship problems.

Great movie and no wonder they lifted the name to put on this Vibrating Vagina. They even call it a “teenager vagina”. How can something inanimate be labelled a teenager? Still we have sold a lot of them!

This is one of the original types of masturbators on the market, affordable and a popular male vibrator. Made of soft, jelly material, and with the hymen still intact, it will feel like your having sex with a virgin everytime you use it. (sic) (bold ours)

References to “virgin”, “hymen”, “Lolita” and the “unbelievably provocative Sue Lyon aged 14…” eroticises sex with children and therefore, paedophilia. The term “Lolita” references a film about a man pursuing sex with an underage girl (child abuse) and the term is now commonly understood to be referring to a prepubescent or adolescent girl.

The image on the front cover of the product packaging is designed to look like an underage girl. The accompanying text “Vibrating Lolita teenage vagina” and “always like the first time” confirms this.

In addition to the “Lolita” product, a similar product called the “Teenage Dream” is sold through the site; advertised in this way:

This supersoft teenage vagina makes all your wet dreams come true. She is waiting for you to deflower her.

Eroticising sex with teenage girls and promoting the idea that girls are “waiting” to be abused is a threat to the safety of girls and an endorsement of paedophilia. How is this legal? What can be done?

Making a complaint has been remarkably difficult. While looking into this issue, a number of options were suggested to us by government departments, including notifying the police. It seems every avenue we take, we are advised to contact someone else. We have contacted Fair Trading and submitted a complaint on their website. We are advised that we will receive a response within 10 days. We’ll keep you informed.

  1. As a person who has struggled with pornography in the past, I also feel so incredibly sorry for the poor idiots who will want to ‘get off’ on this stuff.
It is a road leading to death in so many ways, and God’s tears are flowing and His anger burning over the willful destruction of innocence and intimacy.
I am so grateful for the book of Joel, that makes extremely clear the Lord’s stance, and our duty as believers in relation to this crime against the Kingdom.
Please never stop in your vigilance to expose this terrible wickedness. I have 2 teenage girls, and a wonderful young man. I am so upset.

  2. I am not half as disgusted with the shops selling this excrement, as I am with the system which allows them to do it unfettered. It’s too easy to find it. Too hard to report or remove it. What are the vested political and financial interests at work here? Not to mention the personal ones?

  3. Condom King through selling this nauseating product are inciting males to commit sexual violence/rape under age girls.

Clearly such incitement violates laws which supposedly exist to protect underage girls from male sexual predators, but since these laws were created and passed by men this means promoting male sexual violence against underage girls is not ‘a crime!’ Not forgetting the misogynistic product also incites male sexual violence against women because when men are using this product and masturbating they are supposedly ‘creating a fantasy wherein they are sexually conquering a female who has never come into contact with the pseudo magical penis!

Hmm wonder what would happen if the misogynistic promotion of under age girls as ‘disposable male sexual fodder’ was changed to one wherein it was under age boys being used to promote this condom! Male Supremacist legal system would swiftly move to charge Condom King with inciting adult males to sexually prey on ‘innocent under age boys.’ But because it is females who are being as usual exploited by the Pornstitution Industry nothing will be done.

After all women and girls only exist to be ‘males’ disposable sexual service stations!’

  4. I continually despair. Here so many of us are fighting tirelessly for sexual abuse prevention education and reducing the statistics of 1 in 4 girls being sexually abused before 18, and business such as this are allowed to sell , market and encourage fantasies of the sexual abuse of young girls. Where is government regulation when you need it!

  5. As a man I am distressed that Condom Kingdom are engaging mens minds to lust after young virgin teens in order to sell their seedy wares.

I remember years ago the Senate was passing a bill that legalized what they called erotica, there was much mirth as mainly Labor senators poo hooed those who were objecting tot the legislation as it devalued women and set in place what they called dangerous precedents, but to no avail the law passed and the damage was done.

Condom Kingdom’s advertising campaign is an outcome of the shift that we have seen because our politicians decided a long time ago that the sexualization of women is a good thing.

Actions come from attitudes and attitudes are formed through our thought life – if it is OK to lust after virgin teenagers with CK’s masturbation machine – it is not a big step to becoming a predator and stalking a young girl.

What we have seen in India in recent times we could seen here if we cannot make a stand against the sexualization of women.

  6. Nicole’s comments (23/01) and David’s comments (24/01) comprehensively capture the whole pathetic and very concerning situation. Thank goodness for groups like Collective Shout, and their gutsy and focused approach!

  7. We should have media coverage of this disgusting trend. As a survivor of serious child sex abuse at the hands of several middle aged men when I was aged only 6 – 14, this sickens and saddens me. It is paedophilia pure and simple.

  8. “…inciting males to commit sexual violence/rape under age girls.”

Oh, please! You women make it sound like all men are uncontrollable savages salivating at every female image luring them to rape every woman in their path. No wonder many men are choosing to remain single. While I am in a relationship, I have many male friends who have just given up on having any relationship with women. They’re just too high maintenance. Relax ladies and take a chill pill!

  9. Oh crap, Christina’s right. After reading her comment I asked all my single male friends why they were “choosing to remain single.” Turns out they’re sick of these whiney women hassling them about their lust for little girls! How irrational of those women! Apparently sex toys shaped like the anatomy of little girls doesn’t go down too well in a relationship.
