(just as an aside, I don’t ‘run’ Collective Shout. I am part of a founding board which takes responsibility for the organisation. The day to day running of the movement is managed by Melinda Liszewski in Brisbane supported by volunteer activists around the country).

  1. And well they should ‘face backlash’. Why does a 7 year old girl need jeans which have been ripped off at the leg just below her bum? I don’t want to see her undies as she hangs upside down on the monkey bars. Does the CEO of Target?

  2. Have you seen Targets new add for women’s underwear?

Lingering shots of the models bottom and a frontal shot where you can
see the outline of just about everything in little apricot briefs…and of course the token larger model
so that ‘women will feel comfortable in their own skin’…so they can justify another bra add.
All topped off with a model lounging about in lingere…I’m not sure where Target is going…
but it doesn’t feel right…won’t be buying there until they get back to the
family friendly store they used to be.
